we stayed here for a wedding and it was fantastic! the king room was stylish and spotless, exceeding what we'd experienced previously in shrewsbury. the staff were attentive, and the meals, especially the dinner, were simply delicious.

the parking was a bit tricky.

stayed at mytton and mermaid for 1 night n it was pretty great. the room was super spacious and sooo comfy, 10/10 on the bathroom too, it was fancy n spotless. the staff were young but very polite n helpful, made me feel really welcome. the food was tasty, n i enjoyed some nice drinks at the bar. the vibe there is chill and relaxed, perfect for a night out or just unwinding.

the only downside was the long wait for dessert. also, the parking was a bit tricky on busy nights.

my stay at mytton and mermaid was delightful! the location is perfect, right by the river and near a national trust property. the king room was nicely decorated, and the bathroom had great quality toiletries. staff were super friendly, making the place feel really welcoming. the freshly cooked breakfast was a highlight!

This place suits me perfectly with excellent wi-fi, a cozy bar/lounge area, and delicious home-cooked meals. The friendly staff even helped me with directions my first time. Highly recommend visiting during the weekend!

The deluxe king room was a real treat with a super comfy bed and a shower that could fit two! I loved spending time by the beautiful riverside and soaking in the peaceful gardens. Just a heads up, make sure you're clear on the check-out time, as we had a little mix-up with that but it didn't ruin our stay! 😊
